Children who have been in Norway for a long period can now have a chance to have their case reconsidered
Some forcibly returned children who have stayed in Norway for a long period can now have their cases reconsidered. The new scheme applies to a limited group of children and their families.
The family can request the Immigration Appeals Board (UNE) to reconsider its case. UNE will examine in particular the child's connection with Norway and what is in the best interests of the child.
