Norway strengthens cooperation with Greece in the asylum field
	A key priority for the EEA Grants in Greece in the coming years will be to support the country’s efforts to handle the influx of asylum seekers and migrants, especially unaccompanied children. Environment, civil society and research will also receive funding. Read more >

Nordic Christmas bazaars in Greece and Cyprus
	Tempted by home-made sweets, mulled wine, cloudberry jam or the famous Norwegian brown cheese? During the first weekend of Advent 25-27 November, traditional Nordic Christmas bazaars are held in both Greece and Cyprus. Read more >

Norwegian Fairytales and Christmas service at the Scandinavian Church
	There is a long tradition of celebrating Christmas at the Scandinavian Church in Athens. This year is no exception as the Church hosts its annual Norwegian Christmas Service on December 10th. Prior to the service two Norwegian storytellers will tell fairytales. Priest Jon Ådnøy welcomes children and adults alike. Read more >

A Norwegian PhD student in Greece

The Norwegian student Øystein Brekk will spend the next years in Athens, doing research on Parkinson`s Disease for his PhD. Øystein is a part of the PhD fellowship “Marie Curie Actions Training Network”, which provides training and research experience for researchers of any age or nationality.
