The Norwegian singer Kate Havnevik, also called "The sirene of Norway", will be a guest vocalist when the German hipster band Schiller enters the stage in both Athens and Thessaloniki the upcoming weekend.
Kate Havnevik’s dedicated fans are called “Havnevikings” and the first weekend in November you have the chance to become a “Havneviking” in Greece! Schiller and Kate Havnevik will enter the stage at Gagarin 205 in Athens on November 4th, and at BLOCK 33 in Thessaloniki on November 5th. Click here for ticket information.
Kate Havnevik who is based in Oslo is by many called “the sirene of Norway”. The Norwegian chanteuse has rightfully earned favorable comparisons to such vocally gifted artists as Kate Bush and Goldfrapp. Kate’s music naturally embraces the finest elements of electronica, pop/rock, folk, classical and trip-hop with audible brushes of her extensive travel dusted throughout.
Kate’s versatility as a vocalist and songwriter is in evidence with her continued recorded and live collaborations with a diverse selection of the cream of the electronica genre. Amongst these is the German multi-platinum trance composer Schiller, with whom Havnevik has been touring around Europe during the year of 2011. Kate Havnevik also co-wrote 3 tracks for their album “
Atemlos” which was released in March 2011.
