Originally from Tromsø, Norway, Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge formed the duo back in 1998. Röyksopp had their breakthrough in 2001 with the CD Melody A.M, and international hit singles such as Poor Leno, Eple, Sparks and Remind Me.

They have since had an international success, and has toured all over the world. They have also won five Norwegian Grammy Awards, called ”Spellemannsprisen”.

The Ejekt Festival takes place for  the 5th time. It began in 2005 as a project to create an annual music festival in Greece with an artist lineup as good as any international music festival. The headliner in 2005 was The Chemical Brothers, following with several great bands over the years, like Hercules And Love Affair in 2008.

This years festival contains The White Lies, The Klaxons, the Pixies, Lauryn Hill and Jarvis Cocker, as well as local bands.

Röyksopp is out with their latest album "Junior", and releases their brand new single, ”The girl and the robot” on the 15th of June.
