Norwegian “Babycall” at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival

On November 9th and 10th, the Norwegian thriller “Babycall” by Pål Sletaune will be screened at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

For ten days, the city of Thessaloniki will be transformed into a place for the discovery of cutting-edge film. These ten days will include screenings of films from all over the world, important guests from the contemporary cinema scene, tributes, round table discussions and parallel events.

One of films that will be screened is Norwegian. “Babycall” is a thriller directed by the Norwegian Pål Sletaune with famous actors like Noomi Rapace and Kristoffer Joner. The movie is about an over-protective mother, who moves to a secret address with her eight-year-old son after a difficult divorce. She buys a babycall to better watch over him, which seems to be activated from other apartments in the block. One day she overhears what she thinks is the murder of a child.
