Tempted by home-made sweets, mulled wine, cloudberry jam or the famous Norwegian brown cheese? During the first weekend of Advent 25-27 November, traditional Nordic Christmas bazaars are held in both Greece and Cyprus.

Every year Greeks, Norwegians, Danes, Swedes and Finns find their way to the Scandinavian Church's bazaar for a weekend of meeting with old and new friends, enjoying homemade sweets, and selecting from the variety of tempting Christmas products from the four Nordic countries.

On the church's website: Svenskakyrkan.se you can find more information on the bazaar, as well as services and other activities and events the Church organizes. The Scandinavian Church is located in Daidalou 18 in Plaka, and priest Gunnar Lidén is looking forward to welcoming everyone to the church during the first weekend of Advent.
