The Danish Institute, the Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Institute welcome you to the exhibition "Slowly Arrives" by Kirsti Grotmol, running from 10 to 30 November
"Slowly arrives" is a series of strong, colorful, figurative paintings, and a video, based on the theme of childhood. Beneath a calm surface, something disquieting is hinting at us.
The title refers to the creative process of painting, a process requiring in addition to technical skills, both time and meditation. The title also refers to the process of remembering -to recollect the feeling of childhood.
Kristi Grotmol has exhibited in several countries, among others in Australia, China and Germany. Ms Grotmol will be present for the opening of her exhibition "Slowly arrives" at the Danish Institute on 10 November at 20:00.
