2500 year old Myrtis speaks up

48 000 people visited Myrtis while exhibited at the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. Now the successful exhibition can be seen in Volos, where Myrtis keeps on spreading her message to visitors and world leaders. Read more

Celebrating Fridtjof Nansen in Athens

Fridtjof Nansen was a well known Norwegian polar explorer, scientist, diplomat and international humanist. In 2011 it is 150 years since his birth, and his extraordinary accomplishments are being celebrated and honored around the world, including in Greece on October 10th and 11th

 

 



From Nubia to Sudan

The Greek-Norwegian couple Alexandros Tsakos and Henriette Hafsaas-Tsakos have lived and worked in Sudan for several years. This autumn you can take part in their adventures and learn more about their archeological fieldworks through a photo exhibition at the Benaki Museum of Islamic Art in Athens.
