International OpenArt Residency

The purpose of the Greek  project "OpenArt Residency" is to be a meetingpoint for international artists and encourage artistic production. From 1 June to 30 September artists from all over the world are invited to reside and work in Evia. Audhild Dahlstrøm will participate in the programme from 17 - 31 August. She will work on a multi-screen installation The Fire on the Westfront which builds upon narratives of nature and takes its concept from the national reference point that forever reminds Norwegians of what they were doing or where they found themselves at one of the most dramatic moments in the ski sport history " Kvar var du da Oddvar Brå Brakk Staven?"  The project is a collaboration between Cheapart and the hotel "Island of Dreams".
