M² Music Entertainment presents Sivert Høyem and his Moon Landing European Tour in Athens the 19th and 20th of December 2009.

Høyem, known as the lead singer in the successful Norwegian rock group Madrugada is on his solo tour, and expectations in Greece are high after two sold-out conserts with Madrugada in Athens the spring of 2008.

The band Madrugada decided to quit after the tour and as a result of band member Robert Burås’ tragic death the summer of 2007. Read more about Madrugada at Wikipedia.

Høyem released his solo album Moon Landing the 28th of September 2009. You can listen to selected music on his official web page.

About his album, Høyem states that “It’s kind of a new start for me. I just feel I have a lot to prove to myself. I wanted the title to tell people something about the ambition I have for this album, this being the first thing I have done since the band broke up.”

The charismatic singer with the deep and soulful voice will appear two nights in a row at Gagarin205 in Athens, presenting his new material to the Greek fans. Alongside Høyem, from the times of Madrugada, guitarist Cato Thomassen will appear on stage. The line-up also includes Rudi Nikolaisen on bass, Christer Knutsen on guitars / keyboards, and Bjorge Fjordheim on drums.

So don’t miss out on your chance to see Sivert Høyem and band live in Athens in a much anticipated tour, at Gagarin205 the 19th and 20th of December.
