This winter you can see a play by Henrik Ibsen in Ioannina. A local theatre group is staging "Little Eyolf", a drama sure to thrill spectators. Those already familiar with Ibsen now have the chance to see one of his lesser known works.
On January 18th "Little Eyolf" was performed at Kampereio theatre. You can still catch one of the later performances, because they run until the end of February.
Witness the story of the Allmer family, and feel the gnawing tensions between the family members. The play reveals the terrifying unknown that lies beneath the surface of human relations.
The Municipal Regional Theatre of Ioannina was founded in 1983 and has worked up a huge repertoire consisting of both classic and modern plays. The director Nikos Kamontos graduated from the National Theatre’s Drama School in 2001. Since then he has worked with theater and film in Greece and several other European countries.
