On November 26th representatives from the fields of policy, industry, research, civil society and the press discussed ways to reduce carbon emissions in Greece.
The event, dubbed by some as a "small Copenhagen", was extremely successful in terms of attracting 50 very important stakeholders from a wide social spectrum in order to discuss the potential of a long-term strategy for reducing emissions in Greece. All stakeholders acknowledged that this discussion was a very interesting and important first step towards this important goal.
Enviromental organisation Bellona hosted the event together with the Norwegian Embassy.
You can read more about the event on Bellona's website.
