- It is safe to travel to Greece

Knut-Are Okstad, Chargé d'Affaires at the Norwegian Embassy in Athens, was in a net meeting in VG Nett on 9th July 2010. - There is no reason for Norwegians to cancel their holiday to Greece, he said.

About eight percent of the Norwegian population, 350.000 Norwegians, visit Greece every year. 9th July 2010 they had the opportunity to ask chargé d'Affaires at the Norwegian Embassy in Athens, Knut-Are Okstad, about current issues in Greece.

Okstad received hundreds of questions. Many were curious if possible strikes or demonstration would affect their holidays.

Okstad said that there is no reason for Norwegians to be worried or cancel their holiday to Greece.
