The annual Nordic seminar on contingency plans and crisis management in case of a major disaster in Greece will this year be held on April 29th in Rhodes. The seminar is hosted by the Norwegian Embassy in Athens.
This year’s seminar will provide an opportunity to learn more on local, regional and central crisis management with a special focus on Rhodes. It will also deal with how the Nordic embassies, tour operators/charter companies and Greek authorities may work jointly in case of an emergency.
Presentations will be given by appropriate civil protection authorities, by Norwegian Foreign Ministry, Nordic Embassies and Nordic tourist agencies. The local police, fire department and airport authorities will give short briefings on their contingency planning.
