Asylum
a person may have a right to asylum in Norway if he or she has a well-founded fear of persecution in his or her country of origin. Please note that the Norwegian Embassy in Athens cannot handle asylum cases on behalf of Norway in Greece. This is solely the responsibility of the Greek authorities. Furthermore,  we do not have a legal framework to bring asylum seekers in Greece to Norway. At the website of the Ministry of Citizen Protection you will find basic information for asylum seekers in Greece. The fact sheet is available in 15 different languages.
