Translations

For translation of documents to be officially used in Norway or Greece, kindly contact a State-authorised translator (authorised by Norwegian Authorities), or the Translation Service at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Please note that documents translated into English are accepted by Norwegian authorities.

Regarding birth certificates, marriage certificates and other documents with Greek names: In order to ensure that translation to Latin characters is identical to passport/ID-cards, please provide the translator with a copy of passport/ID-card.
